With the emergence of the Light Sport Aircraft market Piranha took on the task to create a gear reduction unit for the Rotomax rotary engine. The gear box proved successful; however the Rotomax engine was pulled from the market.
The project expanded our capabilities in the area of gear box design and manufacturing.
