Piranha UAV
Piranha has been involved in the design and manufacturing of a number of ducted fan projects.
A number of projects were in support of TrekAero, a leader in ducted propeller systems.
Pirnaha UAV has also proto-typed a number of ducted fan systems of our own design.
The ducted fans have ranged from just a few inches to 4 foot diameter systems.
The larger ducts have be constructed from carbon/epoxy with injection molded stators and blades.
Blade configurations for 3 to 8 blades and manufactured as one piece fixed pitch or individually adjustable blades fixed in a central hub
